Youth Programs Overview
Homework Clubs
Montebello Apartments was the site for our Homework Club pilot program in 2008. Resident children in grades 1-6 attended 3 days a week from 3 to 5pm for an after school snack, help with homework from staff and volunteers and additional educational activities. Through a generous grant from Juan Young Trust, we were able to expand Homework Club to Reedville in 2008. Volunteer high school students from Catlin Gabel help the children with homework, reading and computers twice a week.
